Training for MGC Staff
On commencement all employees are taken through a training matrix and assessed as to areas where additional training may be required.
The area manager then works alongside all new employees on site to ensure that they are fully aware of the areas that they are responsible for, are using the correct cleaning techniques and are made aware of any OHS issues relating to that particular site.
The securing of the premises is also explained, and what to do in the case of an emergency.
All sites are provided with an Operations Manual which contains a schedule of duties, material safety data sheets and other relevant information.
Follow up training is provided on an ongoing basis by the relevant Area Manager.

- Basic cleaning Techniques
- Toilet hygiene and window cleaning
- Training in the use of equipment
- Use of high speed and slow speed machine
- Use of chemicals and sundry equipment
- Stripping and sealing floors application of sealers
- The contractor and his requirements.
- The use of wringer buckets and mops
- Vacuum cleaners - types and uses.
- The use of truck mounted units.
- Carpet spotting and shampooing.
